This is an absolutely beautiful solid oak Meadowbrook cart, with wooden wheels. Tire rubber is in excellent condition. This is a two-seater cart, with both seats able to fold up. One seat folds up and over for ease of entry into the cart, from behind. Both seats are nice and padded, with black tufted patent leather upholstery and are in excellent condition. The cart has wooden fenders, a wooden dash and footboard with brass accents and whip holder. There’s also a wooden tray up front which serves as a small holding area for tools, drinks and snacks, etc.

This cart has always been stored indoors so has no wood rot or rain damage. The horse shown pulling the cart in the pictures is our 15HH Lipizzan stallion Conversano Ivey, so the cart will easily fit an average 15 to 16 hand horse.

Onward was sired by the Elite Dutch Warmblood stallion Guardian, an own son of the world-famous Iron Spring’s Farm stallion Rampal. Guardian has an extensive dressage performance record, successfully showing through Intermediare I, earning 9’s for his powerful and elastic gaits and capturing such awards as USDF Breeders Championship Reserve Champion stallion. Guardian has sired many Gold and Silver Premium foals and is known for passing his wonderful gaits temperament on to his foals.

Onward has this same tractable personality and is very easy to work around. She stands well for vet, farrier, grooming, bathing, clipping. Loads and trailers well, and handles new environments with ease for shows & clinics. She is a very easy keeper and is not aggressive with other horses in the barn or during turnout. She has no vices, no lameness issues, and is current on farrier work and vaccinations.

This mare has a very solid dressage foundation. She’s had the last year off (too many horses, not enough time) but prior to that was training 2nd Level movements, beginning work on collection, trot half-pass, lengthenings. She is solid in her transitions, shoulder-in, leg yield. She’s been to numerous dressage shows and clinics. 1st Level scores in 60’s and 70’s. Also has some jumping experience though still considered green over fences.

Onward has great conformation with a lovely topline and a nice uphill build. Her neck ties in nicely at the withers and she has a good shoulder angle allowing her to move freely from the shoulder. She also has very nice hind quarters for carrying power.

Mare is being sold with breeding option to Lipizzan stallion Conversano Ivey. This foal will be fully eligible for registration with the United States Lipizzan Registry, in the Lipizzan Sport Horse registry.

This saddle is made by Crates, one of the top manufacturers of high end western show saddles. It has a medium oil finish and a 16” smooth leather seat. The saddle has quite a bit of silver on it, including conchos, horn and cantle plates, as well as silver corner plates on the skirts. The silver is very high quality Montana silver so won’t tarnish and dull with time. The saddle has basket weave tooling, equally nice for either a man or woman to ride in. The saddle is approximately 6 years old, and has a very solid tree with no defects. This would make a wonderful beginning show saddle.

This is the Featherlite Model 9405, a very compact trailer with all aluminum construction that makes it lighter and easier to tow with a wider range of vehicles, including SUV’s. Despite the compact design, it is a very roomy trailer with an inside height of 7’6” and width of 6’7” so it’s plenty big enough to load two large warmbloods into. This trailer has the custom black color so it will stand out in the crowd. Includes spare tire and cover. Heavy duty, padded chest and butt bars. There is no center post between the rear doors and divider is completely removable, for hauling large objects or loose hauling horses, mare & foal, etc.

Sterling has lots of driving experience and is very comfortable in and around traffic. Not at all spooky, a kind-hearted horse that is a pleasure to work with. Show experience includes English, Halter, Dressage InHand and Under Saddle at Intro Level. He’s been shown Prix Caprilli so has had some limited exposure to jumping. Sterling is also a very willing trail mount for those that have no interest in showing.
